Men's Prayer Breakfast

Men, come out on Saturday, October 5th for prayer, fellowship, and of course...breakfast! You’re encouraged to bring your sons with you as well. Meet in building C at 8:30 am.


FUEL: Fields of Faith

On Sunday, October 6th we will be attending Fields of Faith at the football field of Davie High School. There will be food, a time of worship, student testimonies and a message. (There is no cost involved with this)

We will meet at the church at 5:30pm to ride together to the High School.  


Small Groups Meet This Week


New Connections Class, Tuesday, October 8th at 6:30 pm

If you are interested in becoming a member of FBC or simply want to see how we operate as a church, this is the class for you. This is a great way to find out more about us. (You aren't required to join just because you take the class.) If you plan to attend, please sign up here.

Everyone affected by hurricane Helene. If you would like to know how you can donate, please see the items we are collecting at the end of this post. Here are some ways you can pray:

1 - Pray for peace for those who have lost loved ones and homes in the floods.

2 - Pray for disaster response volunteers who are serving

Janet Robbins' sister, Penny - recovering from cancer surgery on Tuesday, September 24th

Rhonda Robinson's brother, Mike Boone - he was in his home while it was destroyed in the hurricane. He's currently in the hospital with multiple injuries.

Greg Quinn's sister, Kim Dorman - her husband passed away suddenly from a heart attack last week.

Grace Lukas (daughter of friends of the Wiles family) - in the hospital with pneumonia.

Carrie Ratledge's mother, Debbie Tenery - lung cancer. Praise that she is finished with her chemo/radiation but still needs prayer as she has monthly immunotherapy infusions.

Burt Bond from Vulcan – passed away from cancer


PRAISE!!

Dakota & Hannah Carter welcomed Magnolia May into their precious family on September 20th at 12:35pm. She weighed 8lbs, 3oz. Everyone is doing great!

Congratulations Dakota and Hannah, and grandparents, Richard & Magan!!

Helene Donations:

We will have a trailer here this Sunday, October 6th, to collect items for the hurricane victims. Although we will collect clothing, bedding items, etc. at some point, FOR THIS WEEK, here are the items we'd prefer:


Personal hygiene items - soaps, hand sanitizer

Baby products - formula, diapers, wipes, bottles

Cleaning products - Shovels, mops, rakes, wheel barrows, paper towels, toilet paper

Canned foods - POP TOP CANS PLEASE!

Non-perishable items - protein/breakfast bars, peanut butter, water

Plastic cutlery

First aid supplies

If you would like to bring your items before Sunday, you can come tomorrow, Friday, from 10-4. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

Thank you all for showing love in action! What a great way for us to share Jesus with those in need.
