FBC Upcoming Events & Prayer Needs 10-06-2022

Updated: Dec 15, 2022

FUEL: Corn Maze, Saturday, October 8th. Teens, we will be leaving at 5:00 pm to go to the Alpha & Omega Corn Maze. The cost is $10, plus please bring money for dinner. They plan to be back at the church around 9:00 pm.

This is an outdoor event, so dress in layers and bring a flashlight. Please sign up here so we can arrange transportation.

Robin Quinn's Retirement Dinner, this Sunday, October 9th at 5:30pm in building C. After 15 years of faithful service as FBC's secretary, Robin Quinn is retiring. She has poured her heart and soul into serving this church and we want to show her how much she means to us. Please help us celebrate Robin this Sunday at 5:30 in building C. It will be a potluck dinner. Please bring a dish, dessert and/or drink to share!

Congratulations Robin!

CANDY! CANDY! CANDY!

We are still taking candy donations for the upcoming Chicken Stew Plus now through Wednesday, October 12th. You can drop the candy off in the main lobby. Our goal is to have 30 trunks this year so we need a lot of candy/treats to hand out to the kids.

New Connections Class, Tuesday, October 11th, at 6:30 pm.

If you have been attending FBC and would like to join, or if you're simply curious to know how we operate as a church, the New Connections Class is the place for you! You can sign up via the Church Center app here or drop off a Communication Card in the lobby. Please join Pastor Phillip on Tuesday, October 11th at 6:30 in the lobby.

Ladies Prayer Brunch, Saturday, October 15th at 9:30 am in building C.

Our next Ladies Prayer Brunch is coming up. We've made a few changes this year. Our priority will be to start in prayer at 9:30 then follow up with food & fellowship. Food, coffee and water are provided so all you need to bring is you!

Chicken Stew Plus, Saturday, October 22nd, 5:30-7:30pm.

We are still in need of volunteers for several areas and definitely need more decorated trunks (our goal is 30!). You can click here to sign up or fill out a CSP Volunteer Card and drop it off in the lobby.

Food Pantry: If you or someone you know needs assistance from our food pantry, please contact Deacon Roger (Ellen) Miller at 336-655-0967.
