Community Christmas Food Drive
It's that time again! Each year our schools close for the Christmas and New Year holidays, leaving many children without food that they depend on the school to provide. FBC strives to feed not only these children, but their entire family for that 2-week period. To pull this off, we will collect food items weekly, now through December 8th. Robin Quinn and her food drive team will hand out bags each week with a handy list attached to make it super easy to purchase the food and bring it back to the church each week. This week the list will be for breakfast items. Be sure to grab a bag on your way out this Sunday! You can drop your items off each week in the main lobby.
We also accept monetary donations to help us purchase any items we don't collect. You can give online through your Church Center app or put cash/check in an envelope and drop it in a tithe collection box. Be sure to write "Food Drive" on the envelope!
We are so excited to see how God works through this great community outreach effort. It's never too early to start praying!!
NO Small Groups Meet This Week
Instead of Small Group this week, join us for the 3rd Quarter Business Meeting at 5:30 in building C. Once the meeting wraps up, we will have a Hamburger/Hot Dog Fellowship. Burgers, hot dogs, and all the fixings will be provided. Please bring a side, dessert and/or drink to share!
Awana Camo Night
Awana clubbers, wear camo this Wednesday and earn some extra Awana bucks to spend at the next Awana store! (Whew...how many times can we say Awana in one sentence :))
Davie High Football Concessions
We still need several people to help out this coming Friday, November 1st during the Davie High home football game. We can even work out a way for you to possibly work a shift if you can't commit to an entire night. If you can help, please click the link below to sign up or you can email kjohnsonfbc@icloud.com
Tracy Miller is the contact person, so you can also reach out to her with any questions at 336.817.1715
