On Tuesday, October 4th, Eatons Baptist Church, has invited Pastor Phillip to preach and our worship team to lead worship. They are celebrating their 250th Anniversary. We hope that you will make plans to worship with us at Eatons on the 4th at 7pm.
FUEL: Field of Faith at Davie High School, Wednesday, October 5th at 6:30pm. This is a free event sponsored by the FCA. Our teens will be going to this event on the 5th. They will be leaving the church at 6:30 and will return at 9:30pm. In order to plan transportation, we are asking that the teens sign up through the Church Center App here that they will be attending. AWANA: There Will Be AWANA on October 5th, but there will be no Bible Study.
FUEL: Corn Maze, Saturday, October 8th. Teens, we will be leaving at 5pm to go to the Alpha & Omega Corn Maze. The cost is $10, plus please bring money for dinner. This is of course, an outdoors event, so dress in layers and bring a flashlight. Please sign up here so that we can arrange transportation.
Retirement Dinner for Robin Quinn, Sunday, October 9th at 5:30pm in Building C. Please bring a pot luck dish or dishes to share. We hope that you will join us as we celebrate Robin’s 15 years of service to FBC.
Chicken Stew Plus, Saturday, October 22nd, 5:30-7:30pm.
If you have not, please let us know where you can help by signing up on the Church Center App or by signing up through a CSP Volunteer Card to let us know how you will help with this community outreach event. And don’t forget, please bring candy. We need LOTS & LOTS of CANDY for the trunk or treat vehicles that we will have the night of CSP. We are hoping to have 30 trunks and we always have lots and lots of children.
