K-5th Christmas Letter to the Parents

Updated: Nov 15

Dear Parents/Guardians,

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….. and we are SO excited!! Farmington will be doing its annual Christmas worship service on December 18th and we would LOVE for your child to attend!

So, what all is involved?

Children in Kindergarten through to fifth grade will be performing 2 songs. Both songs are upbeat and energetic. The first one is called “Heart and Soul of Christmas” and the second is called “Born is the King”. Please try to help your child learn the words and the moves!

We encourage your child to attend all the practices, but we know that isn’t always possible. Just be sure to practice by watching the videos with the dance moves and learning the lyrics.

Where can this video be found?

Here are the YouTube links for each song:

What should they wear?

Your child will need a PLAIN BLACK T-SHIRT that is pre-washed. Please bring this t-shirt in a Ziplock bag with THEIR NAME on it by the second practice as we will be adding something cool to their t-shirt!. They will also need dark pants and shoes and either a red or green long-sleeved shirt that they will wear under the t-shirt.

When and Where will they practice?

Sunday, November 27th 4-5pm

Saturday, December 3rd 10-11am

Sunday, December 11th 4-5pm

Dress rehearsal: Saturday December 17th 10 – 11:15am.

All practices will be in Building C in the kids worship sanctuary. Please drop off and pick up your K - 5th graders here. Including dress rehearsal and performance night.

When is the Christmas worship service?

Sunday December 18th at 4pm and 6pm. Please drop your child off at 3pm at building C.
